Village Way Educational Initiatives
Village Way Educational Initiatives (VWEI) brings the proven methodology of the Village Way to educators and youth across Israel.
Today the Village Way methodology reaches more than 51,000 youth and 4,200 educators in over 85 communities.
VWEI accomplishes this by helping schools integrate the Village Way into their curriculum and through educator leadership and training programs.
Becoming a Village Way Community
The Village Way Educational Institute is the professional training and development arm of VWEI. It’s where the real transformation begins. The Institute works directly with educators and school leaders, guiding them through a multi-year process to integrate Village Way principles into every part of their school culture by training staff, shaping programming, and helping build strong, supportive learning environments.
Three-Year Integration Model
Once a school is selected, they undergo a three year process that includes:
-
Customized staff training from expert facilitators
-
Leadership development and mentorship for local educators
-
Support to design and evaluate youth programs based on Village Way values
-
Seed funding for innovative educational initiatives
-
Community-wide seminars and educator networking events
-
Access to a growing library of tools, resources, and best practices
📘 Did you know? Since October 7, VWEI programs have also helped communities recover from trauma and displacement through targeted educational support and resilience-building activities.
Educator Leadership and Training Programs
Village Way Educational Initiatives provides a variety of professional development programs and conferences to uplift educators at all levels to become better leaders. These opportunities bring together educators across religious divides and serve as powerful accelerators for systemic change in education and society.
