1953
Yemin Orde Youth Village created as a safe haven for children orphaned by the Holocaust and other at-risk-youth. Located on 77 acres atop Mount Carmel in northern Israel, at the village, at-risk-youth find a home, a family, and a future.
1977
Dr. Chaim Peri begins tenure as Yemin Orde Director, developing the Village Way methodology over decades.
2006
Village Way Educational Initiatives (VWEI) forms, expanding Yemin Orde’s transformative methodology throughout Israel
