Sit at the Table
Meet your YPB Chair, Jonah Wexler
Jonah was first introduced to Yemin Orde Youth Village during a family trip to Israel, when he and his family met and visited relatives, Esther and Yehuda Journo. Esther and Yehuda recently retired from serving as the official "Saba and Safta" of the Village where they counseled, celebrated, and welcomed teens into their home at Yemin Orde. For Jonah, seeing the Village Way in action and how the staff, teachers, and students interacted was an incredibly special and moving experience. He had the opportunity to visit the Village again in 2019 with his sister Arynne and can't wait to return. He is excited to help launch the next generation of ImpactIsrael donors.
Jonah is from Scarsdale, New York, and currently lives on the Upper East Side in Manhattan. He is the VP in Global Credit Management focusing on Cross Strategy Global Credit Portfolio Management and Product Development initiatives, including Carlyle Tactical Private Credit Fund (CTAC), Carlyle Flexible Credit Opportunities (CFLEX), and Institutional Funds-of-One.
