Our video library reflects how the Village Way is elevating education and lifting lives throughout Israel.
Our new video is just released! "ImpactIsrael presents the Village Way." Through the Village Way educational methodology, Israel's educators are empowered with the tools to connect and teach the at-risk youth in their care, thereby helping them achieve success in school and in life. First modeled at Yemin Orde Youth Village, the Village Way is integrated in 55 educational communities, impacting 22,000 youth and 2,500 educators. ImpactIsrael, formerly Friends of Yemin Orde, is helping to elevate education and lift the lives of Israel's troubled youth the Village Way.
Explore the rest of our video library to get a sense of the magic and beauty of Yemin Orde Youth Village. Yemin Orde is home to more than 400 at-risk and immigrant youth from around the world. At Yemin Orde, traumatized teens find a home, a quality education and a safe haven in order to learn to embrace hope for a future as productive citizens of Israel. Our graduates often return to the Village for ceremonies, life cycle events, academic scholarships or as a place of refuge in times of need.
Let us show you around Yemin Orde Youth Village in Israel and discover the beauty and magic of our inclusive community of meaning. Step into our Village with Racheli Yaso-Ngatuo and Zvi Levran and meet our hardworking at-risk youth in their homes, in the classroom, at our Eco-Farm and listen to their personal journeys of struggle to hope and achieving success.
Take a tour of Yemin Orde's sustainable organic Eco-Farm, which doubles as a living classroom. The farm is home to goats and chickens, a vast herb garden, vegetable garden, blacksmith and woodworking shop, as well as production of dairy products such as yogurt and cheese. Youth who work at the farm learn about responsibility, agriculture science and gain business experience through the Village's "Green Basket" program.
