ImpactIsrael's Executive Director warms to the winter in Florida
Karen Sallerson, Executive Director, ImpactIsrael, had the opportunity to head south and spend time in Florida to escape the cold weather during Covid-19. Karen even had the chance for some socially-distanced and masked visits with willing board members and supporters.
"It was a boost to my spirit to change my work space from my dining room table and see people outside of a computer screen. After being treated to a fun lunch with Nadine Foldes in Palm Beach Gardens, I asked her for a gift and she was happy to renew her and her husband, Steve's, commitment to Impact Israel," Karen said. Nadine was happy to see Karen after so much time.
"The work you do is so very important and we are absolutely thrilled to be able to support it," Nadine said.
Indeed, Karen found a way to make lemonade out of this lemon of a year. Her positive attitude remains strong as ImpactIsrael plans a variety of fun and engaging virtual programs throughout 2021.
