ImpactIsrael welcomes Liz Klibanoff as its Senior Director of Development.

ImpactIsrael is pleased to welcome Elizabeth (Liz) Klibanoff as its Senior Director of Development. Klibanoff previously served as Director, Financial Resource Development, for AMIT in New York City.

In her new role with ImpactIsrael, Klibanoff will build on her fundraising expertise to increase donor engagement and awareness of ImpactIsrael in the New York tri-state region.

“I am passionate about empowering Israel’s youth at risk and ImpactIsrael enables me to fulfill both my professional and personal goals. I look forward to building on the momentum that has been created by past and current leadership and introducing this compelling mission to new individuals who want to play a role in ensuring a strong Israel for the future,” said Klibanoff.

Klibanoff served in leadership positions with AMIT from 1999-2019.  She is credited with developing new business and leadership councils, creating long-term and strategic growth for the organization, directing efforts to broaden AMIT’s major gift campaign, and launching successful annual campaigns, among other fundraising accomplishments. Prior to AMIT, she served as Associate Director of ORT, New York, and Development Associate and Director of Special Events for Friends of Bar-Ilan University.

She brings to the job an exceptional combination of energy, sensitivity, and proven leadership to the importance, as well as the challenges, of fulfilling our mission to transform at-risk youth from survival to leadership in Israel. Liz follows Bob Gurmankin who will continue to be part of the team as Director of Strategic Partnerships,” said Sallerson.
