Our new name and new brand identity reflects growing network of educational hubs in Israel .
Friends of Yemin Orde has announced the launch of a new name, new brand identity and new tagline. The organization will now be known as ImpactIsrael, effective Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2019. George Blank, Board Chair, ImpactIsrael, announced the new name to approximately 340 guests at the organization’s Tikkun Ha’Lev Award Gala, held on Monday, Nov. 18, at The Pierre New York.
Executive Director Karen Sallerson explained that the new name, identity and tagline represent the expansion of the organization’s national grassroots educational movement, called the Village Way, to all segments of Israel’s diverse society, including Jews, Arabs, Druze and Bedouin, religious, secular, and youth of all cultures and countries of origin.
“This is an exciting time for us and marks a strategic pivot in our future messaging. We are not just about one village, but about many educational institutions throughout Israel that embrace our Village Way educational methodology’s inclusive principles of tolerance, self-respect, leadership, and hope,” said Sallerson said. “ImpactIsrael is a bold name that reflects our bold vision of the State of Israel.”
ImpactIsrael reflects our broad mission in Israel
ImpactIsrael’s tagline, “Elevating education and lifting lives the Village Way” reflects the organization’s mission of transforming the lives of Israel’s at-risk youth through value-driven education. “’Lifting lives’ suggests positive outcomes for those in need and ‘Village Way’ is our innovative and inclusive educational toolbox,” Sallerson said.
The name, ImpactIsrael, and new brand identity, resulted from comprehensive research, testing and discussions with stakeholders in the U.S. and in Israel. The project was directed by a New York-based strategic communications firm, Red Rooster Group. ImpactIsrael’s partner organizations in Israel, Yemin Orde Youth Village and Village Way Educational Initiatives, will continue to operate under their current names. The new name only affects the U.S. fundraising entity.
